Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.06 g, 3 h), uncertain mint in the East, circa 128-130. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P (sic!) Laureate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. COS III Large crescent with seven stars above. BMC -. RIC 3083 note 1538. Strack 50 var. A very rare variety. Nicely toned and unusually well preserved, and with a particularly disctinctive long-nosed portrait. Light deposits and with minor traces of corrosion on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
